i do not labor under any illusions - as blogs go, this is as un-viral as they come, but for the (precious) handful of people who do read it, i hope i am offering a small something - proof of the possibility of joy after devastation, adventure for the aging, the struggle of a small spirit in a big world to reinvent, open, and cultivate some kind of meaning and do with the Third Third the things that the first two thirds did not quite touch. if i dare ask for One Thing in what remains of this incarnation, it is that i learn Trust. for me, it all boils down to this… that i shed my fears of not being good enough, smart enough, capable enough to both survive in this world and beyond that, to give something - to leave the campground better than i found it! i think we cannot know these things, as we live & breathe - in some ways it is for others to say. that is good - we should not labor for headlines; the first good review spells complacency thereafter. no, better we make daily offerings to our own gods, and privately, quietly, seek to think & speak & act as best we possibly can. and ask for help whenever needed. and give help freely. this is my prayer for the time that remains.

It's a very good prayer - and I'm glad you're having some joy and silliness too.
