god is in the details

each morning, frangipani blossoms are harvested (using a long bamboo pole with 2 fine prongs at the tip), and then all the multitude of little statues are adorned for the day. i find this kind of attention to detail very moving...simple practices that connect one with The Grand Order of Things.
